I designed calendar covers for Capitol Supply & Service as Christmas gifts for wholesale customers. The interior pages depicted professional photos of local Michigan sites (taken by The Farley Calendar Company). I designed the back cover “drop-page” slightly taller in height than the other pages, allowing Capitol’s logo, locations and main 800# to display in front of customers all year.

I designed a red ribbon to flow across the image of the US Capitol building, reflecting a “gift”, the holiday season, and branding by using the Capitol Supply & Service logo colors in a red/white/black gradient and enclosing the image with a solid black and Capitol red border to keep the color scheme balanced.

I designed this calendar cover for Capitol Supply & Service in a vintage, retro-inspired aesthetic, to portray a traditional Christmas feeling. The classic, hand-illustrated Santa with a bag full of toys is reflective of Capitol’s traditional values, and the logo, drum, and USA flag represent am American company. I chose a darker red than the Capitol logo for a more vintage appearance and to keep the focal point on the logo.

I designed this calendar cover with vector images for the deer, the stylized tree with the letter “C” from the logo as leaves, and five birds to symbolize five locations. This design was a more contemporary and minimalist design approach while combining traditional holiday elements and keeping with the Capitol Supply & Service red/black color scheme.
