Flyers

This is one of many flyers I designed for Capitol Supply & Service which was used as a monthly “statement stuffer” for wholesale customers. The “Catch of the Month” ads depicted an illustration of an American bald eagle carrying a fish to reflect the US-based company and corporate identity. With a strong yellow frame around the back of the flyer, the contrasting warm and cool color palette brings the sale and logo in focus.

I designed these flyers in a contemporary and corporate style, using a clean and modern aesthetic to effectively convey the sales, keep visual interest, and lead the reader’s eye through the ad. I used bold, sans-serif typography and white space for clear and direct communication. On the front of the flyer (left), the red curved lines frame the segmented images, separated with white space, so they appear grounded in design. Similarly, on the back of the flyer (right), I displayed HVAC products on a block of solid red and a shadow, as if they are standing on ground, to make visual sense.
